This whole Ukraine thing has gotten me to where I can't bring myself to watch the news as much as I used to. Lately, I found it too emotionally draining to see/hear "Russian jets bombed this", "Russian drones struck that","Russian gunmen kills journalist from this news organization", "Russian snipers kill humanitarian workers from that international humanitarian agency"...I've decided to decompress from it for a bit.

On a more positive note, I watched "CODA" tonight, and I thought it was a touching movie!

If this upward trend continues, the number of Americans who think that Same-Sex Marriage is morally acceptable will be the VAST MAJORITY of the entire population by 2030.

What do you think the difference is?? Personally, I think it's a generational thing, with the old generations dying off and the youngest generations becoming adults.

Currently going through a bit of a rough patch. My Anxiety has been very high lately....

I've decided that today will be my "Day Off" from Studying on Coursera. I'm taking this "Day off" to work on my Prose fiction books. My book will be about a little boy and a little girl who escape from a group of raiders to the woods while the husband and father of the family stays behind to fight the invaders off. After the mom and little girl and little boy get back, their village is saved, but there's a field where the villagers who didn't survive are buried, including the little boy and little girl's father. The little girl and little boy plant some flower seeds in the field, which inspires other villagers to plant flower seeds too until the field is full of flowers.

I'm also going to write a new Children's Book. Currently hoping to look for a Job.

I don't even know what to say...such a big loss...

I need to write an Essay about Ecosystem Services for my course on Ecosystem Sources, and I'm torn between 3 possible Essays. An Essay about how Wildfires can be an Ecosystem Service, how keeping Ecosystems intact can prevent Outbreaks of New Diseases, and how Oceans can provide a service of Carbon Storage.

Am I the ONLY PERSON here on Dreamwidth who thinks that if Clarence Thomas's prognosis was gonna be a POSITIVE prognosis, then Clarence Thomas would've already been released from the Hospital by now?

I haven't reminded myself of the good things that have been happening so far, but with the chaos going on in Europe, I thought it would be beneficial to my sanity to remind myself of the good things so far.

I take care of plants, make jewelry, occasionally make street art, write fiction, (And I'm publishing a Children's Book!), play video games, and someday I hope to be an Environmental Scientist/Engineer.
